What is the B-ICC?

The B-ICC is a non-governmental trade promotion organisation dedicated to creating business development opportunities. We exist to encourage bilateral trade between Britain and Israel through informative business networking events, the co-ordination of trade missions, customised programmes in Israel and the making of introductions. Established shortly after the State of Israel itself, the British-Israel Chamber of Commerce is a national organisation with offices in London, Leeds and Manchester and we encourage you to utilise their facilities for your UK-wide business needs, networking and client entertainment. The Chamber hosts a number of functions during the year. Our major business events attract hundreds of corporate business leaders. In addition we arrange CEO briefings, members' only receptions, breakfast seminars and boardroom lunches that provide quality business networking opportunities for members.

What does the B-ICC do?

The B-ICC is essentially a networking organisation, dedicated to bringing people together for mutual benefit. By becoming a member of the Chamber, you get access to business and legal expertise from both countries and the opportunity to be put in touch with similar business enterprises with a wealth of shared experiences, advice and guidance on how to best trade with or invest in Israeli commerce.

Trade Missions

The British-Israel Chamber of Commerce facilitates trade delegations to Israel, to help encourage trade and foster closer business relationships between Britain and Israel. These are usually timed with key economic and business conferences taking place in Israel. Commercial outcomes which derive from these missions extend beyond the bilateral trade statistics, as they include joint ventures, technology transfer agreements, academic exchanges, partnership arrangements in third markets and cooperation agreements between British and Israeli business associations.

Investment Opportunities

On a purely informational basis, the B-ICC brings you details relating to the rise and fall of Israeli businesses, giving you access to the most up to date information in your sector and beyond. Our network of representatives from Israeli companies extends across 80 high performance public listings and more than 1200 leading businesses, accounting and legal firms as well as over 180 Israeli companies already operating from a UK base. We also can provide you with a membership directory of companies and individuals in the UK who have experience of investing in and trading with Israel and can help guide you through the process.

Networking

There is no better way to make a connection than to make it face to face. The B-ICC offers you a number of events throughout the year that will give you opportunity to make a personal connection with UK and Israeli businesspeople operating in Britain. Through our Breakfasts Briefings, Informal Receptions, Business Lunches and other events you will meet hundreds of individuals who have experience of working with Israeli companies or within the Israeli market. One-to-One and follow-up meetings can be arranged through the Chamber for your own business benefit.

B-ICC Events Advertising

All B-ICC Events will be advertised online in the members-only section. As the guest lists for each event grows, the companies represented will be displayed, so that other members can see who is coming to network with. Product tracking and innovation publicity The B-ICC Website and some events will be used to showcase new and innovative Israeli products. Israel is leading the world with research and development and the production and patenting of new inventions, systems, processes and practices. As many of these as possible will be advertised and promoted to UK companies through the B-ICC website and through dedicated events and trade fairs throughout the course of the year. Manufacturers and distributors will be encouraged to view the multimedia promotions to see if they would be interested in purchasing or partnering.
